Proto-Attic Amphora
- 675 bc, 17" Tall

This replica is so amazingly like the Louvre original, we challenge you to tell them apart! By the Analatos painter, this magnificent amphora represents the experimental time of changing from Geometric to later painting styles with more curved lines. The art is divided into three zones, sphinxes, dancers and pipers, and a chariot procession. Note the abundance of rosettes, spirals, leaves and stylized plants, and wavy lines. This is a unique, breathtaking work of painstaking detail, one of the finest reproductions you can buy.

NOTE:  These selections were individually hand thrown on a potter's wheel, hand shaped and hand painted by Master
reproduction artists in Greece. They are made of terracotta, and have a pewter seal from the Greek Ministry of Culture indicating their quality as replicas.
